iron pans and dutch ovens can be used for frying and baking foods to perfection. When properly seasoned they are terrific for non-stick cooking on top of the stove as well as baking in the oven. iron pots are heavy but it is worth the extra muscle power it takes to use them.
How to Use
Step 1
Rinse your new dosa pan completely using mild dishwashing liquid, scrubber and water.
Step 2
After cleaning, wipe the pan using a soft cloth. Once it is dry, apply oil and leave it for six hours.
Step 3
Next, heat the iron pan over a medium flame for 5 minutes. Once done, switch off the flame and let the pan cool down completely.
Step 4
Once cooled, use a soft cloth to wipe away excess oil and store the iron pan in a dry place.
Step 5
Repeat the process for 3-4 times before starting to cook, to get the desired result.
