Step 1
Soak amaranth grain in water overnight.

Before cooking, rinse the grain in a fine mesh strainer and rinse under cold water until the water runs clear.

In a medium saucepan, add the required water to a boil
Step 4
Add amaranth grain to the saucepan. (Make sure the quantity of grain and the water is sufficient to cook)
Step 5
Add the required spices and salt.
Step 6
Boil the amaranth grain until it is fully cooked.
Step 7
Remove from heat and let cool down for several minutes.
Step 8
Serve as it is or with your favourite toppings.
