Care Instructions The dala we use goes through a process of fumigating and curing in the sun prior to being woven however it is not uncommon for natural fibres and reeds to get musty during the monsoon months.
If you find your piece is looking or smelling a little mildew-y, worry not! Wipe with a dry cloth and leave in diffused sunlight for z-g hours.
Avoid direct sunlight as this may affect the natural dyes we use to stain our cane.
Always store in a cool dry place and air occasionally to ensure mildew doesn't set.

Product Description

Handwoven in Dala and finished with vegetable tanned Ahimsa leather, the Surahi 01 and 02 are multipurpose utilitarian baskets with a strong aesthetic presence. The Dala is naturally dyed to give a rich dark brown on the outside and ink black on the inside.

Use to store dry goods, as a planter for your small pots, or even as a stylish bin in the powder room.
