Product Description
Longpi is an indigenous pottery technique using hand moulded serpentine clay local to the Ukhrul district of Manipur. This is an unglazed type of pottery that relies on wood-firing. The fired pieces are polished with Chirona leaves to develop the deep metallic colour.
The Channi cup is made with traditional Longpi techniques but has a lovely minimalism to it. The cup comes with a removable that strainer allows you to steep your tea in, minimising clean-up time.
