| Care Instructions | The cane we use goes through a process of fumigating and curing in the sun prior to being woven however it is not uncommon for natural fibres and reeds to get musty during the monsoon months. If you find your piece is looking or smelling a little mildew-y, worry not! Wipe with a dry cloth and leave in diffused sunlight for z-g hours. Avoid direct sunlight as this may affect the natural dyes we use to stain our cane. Always store in a cool dry place and air occasionally to ensure mildew doesn't set. |

Product Description
Once considered a weed and a pest, the water hyacinth plant has grown in popularity and utility in recent times. The stems of the plant are split to make woven rope that can be used to weave baskets and mats that are long lasting and completely biodegradable.
The TOKRI organiser is made with water hyacinth and cane, and finished with vegetable tanned leather trims. Hang it in the kitchen, use as a magazine rack, put some flowers in it, or use to organise your shoes!
