Jaggery powder is a natural sugar which is obtained by manually stirring, beating the melted, clarified and thickened sugarcane juice after it reaches a particular temperature so that crushed jaggery nuggets are formed.

Prepared in an iron kadai (wok) on firewood. Plant based coagulant used to treat the sugarcane juice. Handmade. The jaggery nuggets are naturally dried.

Usage Info

Jaggery nuggets are easy to use when the block is broken down into small pieces.
