The floral scent wafting through the kitchen, the golden tint, and higher than usual curcumin content (ours is 4.2) of the serene Salem’s turmeric is nothing
but love. And if you adore the scent, then it is gonna stay as is (in the packet)
cause we cold-grind it (using an air-cooled mechanism). Antioxidant, antiinflammatory (cur cumin’s role), and anti-diabetic are all the terms we need to
hear to know its benefits.
What does ‘cold ground’ mean?
We don’t want to give away the nutrients or the fragrance to the heat of the hammer mill (used for grinding), so we grind our turmeric using air- cooled
mechanism which uses the pressure of air (cool, cool air) to break it down.

Yes, we agree that we are new ‘kids’ on the block, but that shouldn’t hold you back! Like any other witty teenager trying to prove a point, we want to back our
packet on the shelf. Our ‘cling film’ is our test report: the usual 3% curcumin content of the Salem variety is beaten by ours; it’s 4.2!
