Firstly, put your coffee grounds into your filter.
Step 2
If using a French press, put your water into a kettle and heat to just below boiling. If using a drip coffee maker, follow the instructions for how much water to use.

Pour the hot water over the coffee grounds, and then let it steep for 3-5 minutes.
Step 4
If you do not have a kettle. Boil some water in a pot and add the coffee ground and let it boil for 5 minutes.
Step 5
Once the coffee has finished steeping, press the plunger down on a French press, or remove the filter from a drip coffee maker. If boiled in a pot filter the decoction.
Step 6
Pour and enjoy!
