Handmade top made with Ahimsa silk dyed with turmeric and azo-free dyed cotton blend. Ahimsa/Eri silk is a non-violent silk which does not kill the moth in the process of fibre extraction. The yarn is handspun by artisans, dyed with natural ingredients and then woven into fabric on handlooms. This process gives a rich natural texture to the fabric. The blend of Ahimsa silk and azo-free dyed cotton make the fabric breathable and comfortable for the skin. There may be minor variations in the weave as a result of its handmade features.
