Simple Deep Breathing
Deep breathing can help the lungs in reaching their total capacity post-Diwali.
Here’s how to do it:
- Either lie down on the bed or sit on the chair with proper back support.
- Breathe gradually through your nose. Fill the air in your belly.
- Breathe out slowly through the nose.
- Repeat the process by placing one hand on the stomach and another on the chest.
- With deep breathing, feel the belly rising; while breathing out, feel the lower abdomen. Note that the hand on the belly must move more than the one on the chest.
- Repeat thrice.
